Department of Strategy and Logistics

The Department of Strategy and Logistics aims to be an active, leading and innovative academic centre that develops and communicates expertise within the fields of strategy and logistics. The department works closely with national and international partners and participates in several research projects.

The department runs courses on the BSc, MSc and PhD levels, as well as courses aimed at the experienced executive market. The department faculty have many years of experience in teaching business leaders at the MBA and Master of Management courses at BI and at recognized partner institutions abroad, such as Fudan University in Shanghai and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

The aim of the Department’s research on industrial competitiveness is to help highlight the various industries' impact on the Norwegian economy and the opportunities and challenges related to value creation in some of Norway's key industries.
